Camperdown Terrace

The terrace situated in Camperdown was narrow and suffered from inefficient planning. The spaces were dark and the living areas were disconnected from the sunny rear courtyard.

The re-planning of the bathroom and kitchen to the middle of the house allowed the living and dining rooms to be at the rear adjacent to the courtyard. An Ironbark deck with integrated seat was designed to further enhance this connection.

The second storey addition provide an ensuite and walk in robe to the master bedroom which comes off an Ironbark timber balcony that overlooks the foliage of the mature tree that was retained in the rear yard.

The finishes used were warm such as Blackbutt timber flooring, neutral earth toned paint colours and the Ironbark timber decking and privacy screens.
